3 Alternative Bridal Looks
The Unconventional Wedding Directory has featured our awesome bridal shoot on their blog this week!
Please go over to their website to read more about our 3 inspiring alternative bridal looks.
When Eva from ‘evaralephotography’ and I met at my boutique ‘May & Grace’ in Haslemere, Surrey, we instantly connected. Sharing our ideas and inspirations of creating an exciting shoot that was more editorial based than your typical bridal photography session. We both have a passion for the ‘unexpected’ and like to push the boundaries a little when it comes to the bridal imagery typically used. We opted for 3 looks utilising the backdrop of the boutique, 1) Bright and airy, back lit, creating a fresh, modern and clean image, dress by Mikaella. 2) ‘Jungle Bride’ using strong bold colours, dark green foliage and a beautiful exotic flower crown created by ‘Lane House flowers’, dress by Essense of Australia. 3) Vintage inspired, soft ethereal look, using butterflys and flowers in the models hair and a beautiful boho dress ‘India’ by Zetterberg Couture.
Quote: Eva at www.evaralephotography.co.uk ‘As soon as I open the doors to Emilie’s boutique I am struck by how light and airy it feels , I instantly fell in love with the interior and have been inspired to create something involving beautiful bridal dresses. We use the interior of May and Grace bridal boutique (www.mayandgracebridal.com) as the background for the pictures. With Emilie’s knowledge of fashion and lovely warm personality help us to create some fun ideas. I built a creative team of the brilliant Hair stylist Cimone (@c_e_v_e_u_x) and creative makeup artist Laura @laurakingmakeupartistry. The day of our shoot was filmed by talented wedding videographer David @brightlondonmorning.
I am very happy with the result! Images were brilliant and exactly how I imagined.
We love the low sexy back on this Essense of Australia lace dress. Daring but still romantic. You can add a full tulle overskirt for drama when you walk down the aisle that can be removed for the evening to leave a fit and flare full lace dress. what more do you need? 2 dresses in 1!
